Dudley's Story

Dudley is a true Rescue Dog.  Initially this beagle/pointer mix,  weighing in at 40 pounds , was  rescued from a kill shelter by Beacon Animal Rescue.  Beacon rescued Dudley a second time by treating him for heart worm disease.  My husband and I then "rescued" Dudley from his near death experience with the second heart worm treatment.  His digestive tract was a twenty-four hour disaster.  We tried many area vets to no avail.  Dudley then went under spinal cord surgery at Red Bank V. Hospital  for a ruptured disc- no one seemed able to rescue him from severe chronic pain and a generallly miserable existence.

We were then fortunate to find Dr. Newkirk and his qualified staff.  Dr. Newkirk is completely knowledgeable about traditional methods of veterinary medecine.  However, he also possesses an arsenal of homeopathic and holistic means.  At our first visit, he assessed Dudley as a whole, not piecemeal.  He prioritized correcting his digestive tract - and miraculously did so within weeks with a variety of additives to Dudley"s meals.  He treated Dudley's enlarged prostate by the traditional means of neutering him - with a minimum of anaesthesia he barely noticed the difference! 

Dr. Newkirk has a  true gift for sensing a dog's distress , the causes and subsequent cures.  It is apparent during office visits how uniquely he connects with his "patients."  Dr. N. rescued Dudley once again from severe back spasms with chiropractic sessions - followed by aquapuncture. The results have  been amazing and we once again have a dog free of pain.  I recommend Dr. Newkirk highly - as does Dudley!
