About Lisa Marie Dunn

Lisa Marie Dunn passed away peacefully on September 26, 2023 after a courageous one year battle with cancer. Born in Atlantic City, she grew up in Absecon, graduating from Holy Spirit High School and Stockton University. Lisa’s first job was in home healthcare where she cared for those with health concerns and she quickly became a part of their families. She went on to find her life’s true calling as lead veterinary technician and groomer for Newkirk Family Veterinarians in 2007, where she dedicated countless hours caring for thousands of pets. In her limited free time, she enjoyed hanging out with Ernie, Bon-Bon, family, friends, and most of all, her many pets. Lisa will be dearly missed by all, people and animals, whose lives she touched.

Lisa is predeceased by her father, John, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her fiancé, Ernest McCracken; mother, Bonnie; brother, Brian (Nicole); niece, Madison; and nephew, Bryce; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. She is also survived by her pets: dogs, Bert, Xena, Zelda, Zeus, Zola; cats, Tuna, Amelia, Wanda, Otis, Ralph, Ursula, Mya, Pearl; Rubicon the Iguana; and Grimm the Gecko.
